Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth functioning and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Lead and manage the retail team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensure timely stock replenishment, and manage stock control processes.
- Maintain store visual merchandising standards to attract customers and enhance the shopping experience.
- Address customer complaints and feedback professionally to ensure positive resolutions.
- Analyze sales reports and data to track performance, identify trends, and plan improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and the head office to manage store needs.
- Oversee cash handling, sales transactions, and financial reporting for accuracy and security.
- Plan and execute promotions, marketing campaigns, and events to boost store traffic.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized store environment for staff and customers.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment to build team morale and productivity.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar leadership role (1-3 years preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions.
- Customer-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering excellent service.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work during weekends, public holidays, and extended hours as needed.
